Confessions of a Sensitive Man was written for every man or boy that was told that they are too emotional. Masculinity isn't defined by how much you feel, sense or experience emotionally. On Being a Sensitive Man is the follow-up companion volume to Confessions of a Sensitive Man. It was written to provide strategies and tools for highly sensitive men to help them navigate their lives.

HSP Men's Group

Included in the course are monthly HSP Men's Online Meetings - a group of highly sensitive men that gathers via video conferencing each month. Discussions are related to HSP topics particularly those that affect HSP males. The group is very informal, informative. Occasionally, we will have HSP thought leaders attend to talk with us. If you are an HSP male, please come and join us.

William Allen

William Allen, author of Confessions of a Sensitive Man and On Being a Sensitive Man, leads the course with insights drawn from his extensive work as an advocate for HSP men. He is a certified hypnotist and brain training coach , author and advocate for HSP Men.  He believes that male sensitivity is not so rare, but it can be confounding for most males living in a culture of masculine insensitivity which teaches boys and men to disconnect from their feelings and emotions. As a highly sensitive individual himself, William combines personal experience, professional expertise, and engaging storytelling to create a transformative learning experience.

As a man with the trait of high sensitivity (HSP), I very much related to this book. William Allen is authentic and vulnerable as he shares his journey, struggles, and evolution as an HSP man. He also educates the reader about the trait and discusses the cultural stigma of being a sensitive man in an insensitive world. I felt validated and understood by this book. It is a must read for all HSP'

- Buskirk

I had the pleasure of meeting author, William Allen, through my podcast, Real Men Feel. I love how Confessions of a Sensitive Man mixes research and personal experience. Being called sensitive and a nice guy well into adulthood and always taking it like an insult. It isn't. I didn't hear about Highly Sensitive People until I was in my 40's. I'm so glad William is out there sharing his experiences so other men can learn that nothing is wrong with them, and that it is actually good to feel.
Highly recommended!

I came across this author in my pursuit of understanding more and more about Highly sensitive people (HSP’s) and the trait of Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS). Fantastic book, felt at times almost autobiographical and he does a great job integrating male sensitivity into all aspects of life. Have bee been and will continue to recommend this book to anyone interested in HSP Men.
